 This is my magazine creation process where i will be showing the process of making the double page spread, contents page and the front cover magazine.     This was the article i wrote for my double page spread, i first wrote it on my notes then i fixed any grammar mistakes in the article so i can add it to double page spread. In the double page spread photo you can see i used pic-collage to edit the photo by adding borders, writing, and two smaller photos. For my contents page i also used pic-collage to edit it. I started off by adding a border then adding a background and then adding additional photos i took. I also added the page numbers and what their content is. Before  After For my front cover i used the website canva, i chose a magazine template that matched my magazine genre and added the photo i took for the front cover i then added my magazine name, date, barcode, subheading, heading and website.

 For my magazine design planning i used the website canva to work on the front cover of the magazine. Its an easy to use website which gives you templates of what genre of magazine you want and you can edit the colors, fonts, pictures, texts, adding stickers and more. This is my double page spread planning, i started off by adding grids to make it easier to separate and label where everything is going to be on the double page spread. I will have my heading and subheading on the left on top and under it will be the article where i will talk about the brand juicy couture ,how it was one of the most famous brands in the 2000’s and how the juicy couture trend is coming back in style. The picture will take up the whole page but the right side is going to be where the model is so the clothes are easier to see, i will also add two other pictures i took of the juicy couture tracksuits one from the 2000’s and a 2021 one to compare both.  

When? 6th of April 2022. Day of time? afternoon Location? My house . All in one or several locations? It will be in one location which is my house but maybe different locations in my house or outside my house. Props? Handbags, accessories, decorations to match the photoshoot aesthetic. clothes/ what kind of theme? Y2K handbags and accessories  Y2K Handbags  Vintage handbags preferably from the 2000s are coming back in style such as the Dior saddle which is seen worn by Paris Hilton one of the biggest influencers on 2000s fashion. Prada shoulder bags also are coming back in style, Prada released a re edition to the 2000s shoulder bags and are now being sold in stores and are back in style. Y2K makeup Y2K makeup was very edgy and risk taking but were seeing similar makeup looks from the 2000s making a come back.   This vogue magazine cover is similar to what I am aiming for for my magazine. Its similar because of the colourful colours, minimalism, high fashion and more. I also like that there isn't much text on the cover its nice and simple which can grab the readers attention to the fashion and pictures. For my magazine I could use this as a guide, it could also make the magazine look and be more professional or more towards high fashion, not only is may magazine gonna aim for that but its also gonna aim for the old fashion trends that are making a come back (example: Y2K fashion or brands bringing back old designs) and the target audience can be both younger and older people because the younger audience get to see the latest trends and the older audience get to see the old fashion trends that are coming back in style.
